Eagle Eats 6th-12th Grade

A student who does not want the menu meal scheduled that day may fill out this form by 7:30 am. Ordering can begin the day before at 2 pm. The meal will be a grab and go from the  half door on the mezzanine near milk coolers.  This meal still falls, reduced meal program.  Failure to pick up a meal, a charge to the students account in the category in which they fall will still occur.  All Extra Purchases are still required to go through the cashier line.

Take the guess work out of your day! Answer a series of questions to see if  your product meets the USDA's Smart Snacks in School nutrition standards*. Then save and print for your records!

National School Lunch Program, (SSO), School Breakfast Program, and CACFP

Valley Christian Schools offer breakfast and lunch each day in partnership with the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). The USDA recognizes 5 food groups important at each meal: grains, meat/meat alternatives, fruit, vegetable, and dairy.

Each of our schools participates in Offer vs. Serve, where our students select each component of the meal they want instead of our staff serving the whole meal.

Students must select at least 3 components (with at least one fruit/vegetable component) to create a complete meal. Our staff is here to guide students on selecting a complete meal. VCS offers a dinner program under CACFP. Students who stay after school at Central Campus for any reason may receive a dinner, up to 30 minutes after dismissal.

VCS is committed to providing delicious hot meals to our students.  Please know that menus are subject to change, and that we will do our best to get as “close as possible” substitutes for items that are unavailable.  We appreciate your patience and understanding!
