The Intermediate 6th-8th Grade Student of the Week is Ava Nieves. Her teacher wrote, "Ava is almost always doing the right things--inside and outside the classroom--even when she doesn't know people are watching her." Ava enjoys drawing, crocheting and reading. She hopes to one day become a financial analyst.

The 3rd to 5th Grade Student of the Week is Janae Hosey. Her teacher wrote, "Janae is nominated for her outstanding presence in the classroom. She fully participates in her learning, asking questions and consistently trying to grow. She reflects our spiritual values and leads by example." Janae loves munching on pizza while she talks with her friends and makes plans for outside of school. This amazing hip-hopper wants to be a cool, kind person when she grows up. She loves VCS

This weeks SOTW is Marvelous Teague. Her teacher wrote, "Marvelous is committed to her success in the classroom and shows hardwork and determination every day. She creates interesting characters for her stories in Creative Writing, and she provides thoughtful peer feedback to her classmates."
