With practices beginning over the past few weeks, student-athletes have already been showing dedication, discipline, and school pride. From sprinters and distance runners to throwers and jumpers, the team has been working hard to prepare for upcoming meets. The VCHS Student of the Week is Lauren Sargent. Her teacher wrote, " Lauren has stepped up in class with helping to plan their service project. She has actively participated in lessons and intentionally showed kindness and encouragement to another classmate who had been struggling.
