Our Intermediate 3rd-5th Grade Student of the Week is Iri Douglas. Her teacher wrote, "Iri is such a sweet young lady. She has a quiet way about her. Her presence creates a peaceful environment. I enjoy teaching her."

The VCHS Student of the Week is Imani Harvey. Her teacher wrote, "Imani has worked hard to understand our Bible content and always participates in giving feedback. She is responsible and committed to doing her very best each and every day."

By JaQualyn Wiggins Anxiety is something many high school students experience, whether it’s before a big test, during social situations, or while balancing homework and extracurriculars. For many, anxiety hits hardest during presentations. One student recalls, “I remember giving a speech in front of the class and feeling my heart race so fast I thought I might faint. It was hard to focus on my words because my mind kept spinning.” Common stressors for students include exams,
