Freshman Orientation Information

Dear Parents, Guardians, and Students,


Welcome to Valley Christian High School! We are excited to welcome the Class of 2030 and look forward to partnering with your family throughout the next four years.

Freshman Orientation will be held on Thursday, August 13, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. This session is for students only and is required for all incoming freshmen.


During orientation, students will:

  • Receive their class schedules

  • Fellowship with classmates

  • Become familiar with the high school building

  • Learn about graduation requirements for the Class of 2030

  • Explore College Credit Plus (CCP) and Advanced Placement (AP) opportunities

  • Learn about extracurricular activities and athletics

  • Receive tips and strategies for making the most of their high school experience


Following the student orientation, all parents/guardians are required to attend a parent meeting beginning at 5:00 p.m. Dinner will be provided for students and parents beginning at 5:30 p.m.

The orientation and parent meeting will be led by Mr. Pecchia, Mrs. Hoelzel, Mr. Madison, and Coach Carroll and members of our high school faculty will also be in attendance. This is a great opportunity to meet our staff, ask questions, and learn more about what to expect during your student's freshman year.

  • Confirm your attendance

  • Submit your student's T-shirt size



If a parent or guardian is unable to attend the required meeting, please contact the high school office to schedule a time with an administrator to review the orientation information.


As a reminder, VCS logo uniform tops are required for students to wear each school day. You may begin purchasing uniform items using the link below, and additional apparel will be available for purchase at our Team Store during orientation.
