Introducing Mr. Resean Yancey the new Dean of Students at VCS Intermediate

Dear VCS Intermediate Families,

It is my pleasure to introduce Mr. Resean Yancey as the new Dean of Students at Valley Christian Intermediate School!

Mr. Yancey brings a heart for serving students and a passion for helping young people recognize their God-given potential. He earned his bachelor's degree in Organizational Communication, with a minor in Psychology, from Youngstown State University. Throughout his career, he has remained committed to personal growth, servant leadership, and honoring God through his work.

Mr. Yancey believes that leadership begins with service. He is dedicated to building positive relationships with students, encouraging them to make wise choices, supporting their academic and personal growth, and helping them develop into the young men and women God has called them to be.

His experience serving youth throughout the Mahoning Valley includes work with Youngstown City School District, My Brother's Keeper, and the Community Initiative to Reduce Violence (CIRV). In each of these roles, he has focused on mentoring, encouraging, and inspiring students while creating opportunities for them to succeed.

Please join me in giving Mr. Yancey a warm VCS welcome! We are excited to have him as part of our Intermediate leadership team and look forward to the positive impact he will have on our students, families, and school community.

We are blessed to have him join the Valley Christian family and look forward to a wonderful school year together.
