Throughout her high school years, Cyarah Brown discovered that her most unforgettable moments were not defined by a single event, but by growing up alongside her friends and creating memories that will last a lifetime. The laughter, conversations, and shared experiences helped shape her into the person she is today.

One teacher who made a lasting impact on Cyarah was Ms. Sample. Her support and encouragement played an important role in Cyarah’s journey. She is also especially grateful for the guidance Ms. Pixley shared during their discipleship group, which encouraged her growth not only academically, but personally and spiritually as well.

Track and Field was the activity that meant the most to Cyarah during high school. The sport challenged her both physically and mentally, teaching her discipline, resilience, and perseverance. Some of her favorite memories, however, were made in the classroom — especially during her sophomore-year biology class, a time she would gladly relive. Her favorite class overall was AP Government, not only because she enjoyed the subject, but because being around Layla was always the highlight of her day.

Over the past four years, Cyarah faced challenges with confidence and anxiety. Through determination and self-reflection, she learned to step outside of her comfort zone and believe in herself. Stepping out of her comfort zone stands as her proudest accomplishment. Looking back, she wishes she had been more aware of her emotions as a freshman and better understood how to manage them.

Her friends would describe her as supportive, caring, and protective — qualities that reflect her loyalty and heart for others. Many might also be surprised to learn that she has a fun, humorous personality that shines once you get to know her.

If her high school experience could be summed up in one show, Cyarah would choose Abbott Elementary — a blend of humor, growth, chaos, and meaningful moments.

After graduation, Cyarah plans to attend college, earn her degree, and continue on to veterinary school. She is most excited about pursuing her passion for working with animals and building a future in a field she loves.

Her advice to the class behind her is simple: stop standing in the hallways and get to class — the halls are too small to be hanging around.

For Cyarah Brown, high school has been a journey of growth, faith, friendship, and self-discovery. As she closes this chapter, she carries forward the lessons she has learned and the memories that helped shape her future.
